Bio
Mark Skinner joins the Glacier Commercial Realty team with over 30 years of commercial real estate experience. He brings with him a comprehensive knowledge of all facets of commercial real estate, as well as a high level of technical expertise. His areas of specialty include sales, leasing, tenant representation, site analysis, portfolio acquisitions, dispositions, and land transactions. Mark’s distinctive combination of integrity, enthusiasm and dedication to relationships will greatly enhance the value of the Glacier services platform.
From 1983 to 2001 Mark was a Vice President with Bradford Companies in the Great Southwest (Arlington/Grand Prairie) office and industrial market. During his tenure with Bradford he performed leasing and marketing assignments for institutional clients such as AMB Institutional Realty Advisors, Northwestern Mutual Life, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Eastgroup, Security Capital Industrial Trust, The Belmont Group, Merit Equity Partners, RREEF Funds and Travelers Insurance Company. He has negotiated hundreds of leases and related contracts for countless asset sales and acquisitions. Prior to his new positon with Glacier, Mark was the founder and owner of Skinner Commercial Realty & Associates, Inc.
Mark is active in the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Great Southwest Association. He currently serves as a board member of the Great Southwest Arlington Management District. Mark is presently the Woodland Hills Homeowners’ Association Board Chair and is a past Colleyville City Councilman, serving from 2003-2005.
An avid hunting and fishing enthusiast, Mark enjoys the beauty and challenge of the great outdoors. Rural Texas is especially appealing to him, and provides the backdrop for many of his favorite pastime activities. He also enjoys woodworking and traveling with his family. Mark is a longstanding member of First Baptist Church in Euless, and has served as an adult bible instructor there for many years.
